In this stage, you will complete the first assessment task of the course by working on language skills like oral production and listening comprehension.
Purpose
You will record a podcast episode sharing your thoughts, opinions, and expectations regarding your experience in the workforce. Likewise, you will interact with your classmates by listening to their own podcast episodes and reacting to their creations through comments and questions.


1. Create your guidelines!
Although recording a podcast tends to be something more natural, it is always good to put your ideas together to guide your conversation or monologue. Complete this chart with your own ideas and experiences, this will make the recording stage easier and enjoyable.

2. Let’s get to work!
It’s time to record your podcast episode, check the recommendations below:
- Rehearse your guidelines before recording, this will help you work on pronunciation, intonation, and fluency.
- Make sure the device you are using is working properly.
- Keep it simple! Use devices and apps that you are familiar with, the voice recorder available on your phone will be perfect.

3. Make it fancy!
It’s time to edit your podcast, you can get as creative as you want. Look for different apps and online tools to add effects to your recording if you wish or keep it simple as it is. Here you are a series of online tools that you can use to edit your work:

4. Share your podcast!
Post your podcast by creating a new discussion topic, you can upload it as an audio file or can add the link.

5. React to your classmates’ work!
Listen to at least one of your classmates’ podcast episodes and react to them by leaving comments and questions.
