In this sub-task, you will learn about types of newspapers and newspaper reports. You
will also review the similarities and differences between expository texts and newspaper
reports in terms of structure. Besides, you will explore how discourse markers are used
to connect information in order to write the draft of a newspaper report about a current
environmental issue in your community/city that will be published in the local
newspaper. Finally, you will do different vocabulary building exercises that will be
useful to accomplish the subtask objectives.
