Completion requirements
As you have completed all the exercises in sub-tasks A, B and C, continue with the Main Task.
As you already know, the local newspaper is calling for articles and reports about environmental issues worldwide and Mark is encouraging you to participate. So, the idea is that you submit the report you have been working on in Sub-task C.
- Before writing the final version of your report, click here to open your first draft and review whether you have included all the information required. Make sure you included the following information.
- Have you identified an environmental issue in your city?
- Have you done research on:
- Its main causes?
- Its main consequences?
- Strategies/initiatives implemented in other cities or countries to tackle this issue?
- trategies/initiatives being implemented in your city?
- Have you included a final thought or recommendation in your conclusion?
- Use the newspaper template to write the final version of your newspaper report and consider the following instructions:
- Click on each section of the template to write and add images where required.
- Make the modifications to the first draft-text considering the comments of your classmate (fellow editor). Click here to see his/her feedback.
- Make sure you submit the report once you have finished it.
- Read the newspaper report of one of your classmates and write a comment in which you express your opinion about the environmental issue presented and the initiatives or strategies being implemented in the city. Besides, include a reaction to the final thought or recommendations in the conclusion. Do you agree with them? Why yes or why not?
