In this course, you will explore and gain essential communicative tools to create a multimodal journal in which you express your thoughts, reflections and steps to improve your lifestyle. At the end of this course, you will be able to describe habits, routines, plans, personal wellbeing, and give advice. Through the activities proposed in the course, you will get familiar with the correct verb tenses to express future plans, use modal verbs to give advice in a written and oral way. Besides, you will strengthen the use of strategies to understand general and specific information from written and audiovisual texts, and use appropriately sentence structures in affirmative, negative, and interrogative forms by using the correct auxiliary verbs.

In this course, you, the main character of this process, will be able to present a parallel between the past and the present about life aspects in society such as education, personal relationships, work, transport, among others. You will also get the ability to share the pros and cons of those differences. The teacher will be available to support you.

In this course, you will explore and interact with the necessary communicative tools to describe a memorable celebration in your life and its most relevant characteristics. At the end of this course, you will be able to describe, make comparisons, and ask and answer questions about traditional celebrations in your culture and in the culture of your classmates. Through the activities proposed in the course, you will get familiar with the use of the past tense, continue with the process of understanding general and specific information from written and audiovisual texts, and write simple texts in which you specify traditions, dates and activities to do in a particular celebration.

Welcome to Course 2! In this you will learn the methodology and practice activities that’ll allow you to develop the required vocabulary skills to answer an email invitation to travel to a foreign country that includes your trip plans and expectations. With the activities proposed in the course, you will get familiar with the vocabulary and expressions in present tense necessary to understand emails and describe a journey trip.
